How to use MikroTik in Safe Mode

To use MikroTik in safe mode, you can follow these steps:

Using the Winbox GUI:

1. Open Winbox and connect to your Mikrotik router.

2. Click the Safe Mode button in the top-right corner of the window.

3. Confirm that you want to enter safe mode. Click the Safe Mode button again to exit safe mode.

Using the CLI:

1. Connect to your Mikrotik router using the CLI.

2. Press Ctrl+X to enter safe mode. Press Ctrl+X again to exit safe mode.

3. Once you are in safe mode, you can make changes to your router's configuration without worrying about accidentally making it inaccessible. However, any changes you make will be discarded if you exit safe mode without saving them.
